If you ever find yourself in the deep dumps of feelings such as desperation, hopelessness, depression, helplessness, powerlessness, paralyzing fear and you encounter some sort of angry feeling, such as revenge, blame, rage, rebellion, frustration - celebrate! We congratulate you!
You have just moved to a new energetic state. You have moved up the ladder out of the deep dumps to the next step up.
Follow this angry feeling, these angry thoughts. Know they are your ally. Know they are here to help you move back up to a state of wellbeing.
Follow the angry feeling, if you can, without harming yourself or others in any way. Be curious about the anger. What is it telling you about yourself? Is there something in your life experience that is not in alignment with who you have become? Are there boundaries you need to set or that have been crossed?
As you follow the anger, you may find the next better feeling, such as a thought, a feeling of satisfaction, a glimmer of hope or understanding in there somewhere. Curiously follow those and see where they lead you.
In following these feelings you can soon find yourself in a better feeling state.
In this whole process, you have opened yourself up to more wellbeing with every step.
Anger, it is your friend. In knowing that, you can harness its energy to enhance your wellbeing. You can do that without your anger being harmful to you or others.
